Dr. Clay Gipson received his Ph.D. from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003, after completing a dissertation project in the laboratory of Dr. Aravinda de Silva.  After graduating, he spent a small amount of time as a research scientist at a small start-up company before taking a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Dr. Tristram Parslow at Emory University.  After a short postdoc, Dr. Gipson accepted a position as a Medical Science Liaison for Quest Diagnostics.  He is currently a Business Development Executive for LabCorp.  Dr. Gipson is delighted to return to UNC-Chapel Hill to discuss his own career choices and experiences and answer any questions you may have about career development.
